it has a 3" body lift i want to take it off but then the 33's would rub and it works out with the 3.4 so i dont have to put a hood scoop on
4THEWKN

THK Matt

oh thats it? sweet.

I am sure without running boards, and a stock rear bumper you can tuck 33s stock height... I know ill try. done it before.

also Tim just swapped a 3.4L in a buddies 2nd gen 4runner and all they did was cut "webbing" on the underside of the hood where the intake would otherwise "hit" the hood. No scoop needed.

I do dig that color 4Runner though.

yeah those running boards are SCARY on water crossing.. they are more like scoops. lol
plus they look better w/o them.... although the gas tanks sticks down and looks ugly.

Body lifts aren't all that bad, I ran one on my 87.

that green is one of favorite toyota colors.

but i dont know what the switch is for that goes in that hole behind the shifter??

i believe that empty switch spot is for a small coin holder type of deal.

POWER and NORMAL are usually for Auto Trans... in Toys. my 91 Camry had that button.
strange lol

Coming along Stewie.
what you have left on it?

To Do List is in order....

it came with an auto in it
4THEWKN

THK Matt

that console isn't auto though.... lol

oh nvm you took your auto console and cut it out and put the boot thing in it. DOH!

that POWER/NORMAL button is for the Trans. Its called the ECT Button: ECT stands for Electronically Controlled Transmission. When you push the button in, there should be a light on the dash that says "ECT POWER". This changes the normal shift times (based on engine vacuum, rpm, and throttle position) to a later point. This means simply that the engine rpms will go higher before shifting to a higher gear when you're accelerating. It helps build speed more quickly but uses more gas to do so.

Isn't it funny how much cleaner the engine bay looks after the 3.4 or 3RZ swap in an older efi truck?  These new engines just have less tubes and wires!

Have not updated in a while and thats cause i have not done jack squat to it. but i did come up with a way to fix my tranny problem :) i stoped by marlin's yesterday and put in for a 3.0 5speed tranny. this way my clutch slave cylinder and clutch fork will be on the passenger side and clear my exaust. so when that comes in i will get back to work on this thing and get it ready to sell
