Mounting KC's on a stock bumper?

So my smitty built as been sold...not shipped yet though, but i need to get a stock bumper. I wanna mount my KC's on the stock bumper...any ideas on how i should go about that? i was thinking, cut my grill and set them back so there more protected  :dunno:

Yea, that'd probably work.  My headlights went out on one of my trucks and I made some quick little brackets that bolted to the stock bumper bolts and heald my kc lights in place.

i was thinkin like "L" brackets? is that what you used?

It was more like a lazy T, if memory serves  :headscratch:  We're talking over 10 years ago.

Seems like we took flat stock, bent it sorta to the shape of the bumper and welded a tang sticking out front for the light.  I actually ran across them a few months ago or so, and it took me a second to figure out what they were for.  Ace may carry something similar, but making some would be easy to do, but I'd be willing to bet any off road store will have some brackets available.
