Wheelers For The Wounded
« on: Jan 14, 2009, 10:13:42 AM »
Just wanted to give you some information about this event that is going on around the country starting this April.
My club the Hillbilly Rock Krew are hosting the Idaho portion however there are clubs around the US who are sponsoring this event in their home states. Check it out, the websites are at the bottom of this message.

later,

This is a program to provide a weekend of off-roading for our country’s wounded military members. This will be an opportunity to experience a much deserved adventure of fun and excitement as they traverse the rugged Idaho desert in some of the most capable vehicles built.

The Idaho portion of this event will occur July 10th 2009 in the greater Boise area. Wounded servicemen and women will get to experience the beautiful country that they have unselfishly given up so much for. Members of the Hillbilly Rock Krew will be hosting the event and accompanying them on the trails. After the run veterans will be treated to a terrific meal and enjoyable time will be had by all involved!

We are requesting all wounded servicemen and women who are interested in attending this event on July 10th 2009, to please respond to the e-mail listed below so that we can sign you up and accommodate any of your special needs to be able to prepare accordingly. More information will be posted on our website as it is decided and arranged.

Our club will be hosting many different charity events leading up to this event so there will be NO fees for the wounded veterans and immediate family for the event, food or festivities.

Thank you for the sacrifice and service for your country and we hope that in some small way this will show your communities appreciation for all that you have done.
