87 mazda b2600
« on: Jan 12, 2009, 08:07:04 PM »
hey all new to the forum. didnt know where to put this so i put it here. what my plans are is to put a sbf 302 and a c4 in my 87 b2600 4wd pickup. i thought about using the older gear driven toyota t-case or the jeep dana 18 or 20. i know i can get the t-case adapters from advance, but was wondering which t-case would be the better of them all to swap in. i got some fab skills so thats not a problem.

thanks,

mike

the only case you will be able to run is a top shift, it don't matter what year pickup it's out of, it just has to be a topshift.

i think hes asking if he should run the toy gear driven case or the dana 18/20. well since your on marlin crawler, everyone here is going to tell you to run the toy case.

just be sure the t-case is a top shift case (meaning it has the shifter coming out of the case)
