this is nick(ttf) and I's friend. he just bought the all pro extreme lift. been helping him out. so far we have both axles out. so now we need to torch the brackets off and stsrt welding. the truck is getting dual cases dam quick, flatbed, 37"mtrs, and a bunch of misc stuff. ill keep it updated as the days go on. tomarrow we pull the t-case

also he is using 5.29 gears and going arb front and rear. thats nick in the red shirt and gary the owner under the truck. these are the stock fronts and the new ones going in. only a small difference

some updated pics. buddy just got 10 days suspension so he wont be working on it. nick and i are gonna pull the axles tomarrow out of the rear end and get the 3rd out. gary told us to start cutting off brackets so he doesnt loose time on getting it done by his bday.

in clase today we got one fo the stock hangers off and mounted the front shackles. tomarrow were gonna bust out the plasma instead of the cutoff wheel

Today we got the stock front spring hangers cut off thanks to the plasma cutter.  That is a fun tool to use.  We started to grind things down but our teachers 4" grinder didn't have a very aggressive wheel.  So I am bringing my 4" grinder tomorrow that has a really aggressive wheel on it, so we will get that stuff ground down.  When we finish that up, we'll weld the new front spring hanger on, and hang the springs!!  It is up to us to finish this now because Gary can't come back to school even to work on his truck.  We will have pics ASAP.

well all we manged to do today was almost get the grinding done for the front hanger were sure it will be welded up tomarrow and some pics for all u guys.

That's a nice project you guys got going there...And it's a good thing your buddie has you two guys as friends.When I was in High School,I had an 81 toy as well,and not one of my friends were into 4bys...They were all into just partying,and the ones that were into their cars were into Hot Rods,VWs,and Hondas..

got the front hanger tack welded on today. will finish welding monday cause no school tomarrow. no pics because to involved measuring the hanger before we welded it.

5.29 gears with ARB lockers got ordered today, it'll take me another week or so to gather the cash for the extra transfer case. Then all we need is a couple of drivelines to get the thing movin under its own power. Nick, Gavin...put up some more photots! I wonna know how my babys doin. 4 more days and my suspension is up.
