X2 those axles are amazing. Too bad they lied to me about making them over 2 years ago, but now that they are finished, they look killer!!

Rick, PLEASE mount your server to your frame and have a drag link dropping from the servo arm down to the knuckle. I HATE when people use STUPID TLT axles under a Mountaineer and mount the servo atop the dang axle. That is NOT how a Toyota is built. My Mountaineer has my servo mounted between the frame rails behind the front spring hanger and has a natural drag link. It looks waaaaay better this way in my opinion!

hey mike, im guessing you are saying, like remote steering. mount servo. behind my tranny and just run a link rod to a pitman arm? i was going to do that, but not there yet, post a pic if you have somthin similar.

Not exactly, rather directly above the front axle just like your 1:1. I don't really have any good pics available right now, but hopefully you can see what I am talking about here...

This is a huge quarter scale servo that I later replaced with a 1:10th scale servo when I downsized from 5" tires to 4" tires. Of course there are plenty strong 1:10th scale servos (over 400 in-oz torque) that are overkill, so 1/10th scale is plenty strong and much smaller than the one pictured above.

On the smaller servo I am currently using, I moved the pitman arm to the drivers side of the truck, just like your 1:1, running the drag link down to the passengers knuckle, and the steering box (servo) is mounted to the frame just like your 1:1

I just dislike seeing Mountaineers/Bruisers/Hiluxs with the servo mounted directly atop the front axle. It is unrealistic and totally ugly in my opinion.

Look how much better this is when you don't have a servo atop the axle:

This pic is the old huge quarter scale servo

This pic is the smaller 1/10th scale servo, much cleaner

yea i get it, there is no way im mounting a servo to my 200.00 axel. it might mount it above frame in the front  above the axel and have the servo arm,(pitman arm) hang down like my 1:1..
