2/3rz Question

antone know if the 2rz is supposed to be clocked. i bolted my new marlin bell housing to my r150 and the motor is badly clocked counter clockwise if looking from the front. the t cas emount is alredy done and the tranny is level. i dont know if i got the wrong bell housing or the engine is supposed to be like that. any help would be great. thanks

take a dial indicator and set it on your core support and level the truck to 0  then put the dial indicator on top of your power steering reservoir cap  and read it from the front of the truck it should be at zero or  i have seen some guys have it rotated 1 degree

im pretty sure its supposed to be a little tilted like that. my brothers sits like that too. i think the ps res. cap should be level if its in the right position.  :twocents:

that looks about how mine is. i have no power steering pump to go off of. i get a pic tomorrow

the power steering reservior is suppose to be level on the 2/3rz motors. this puts the top of the plenum at a very slight angle. thuse the top of the head / vavle cover its not level at all!

Cab level. Powersteering reservior 0 degrees, plenum 3 - 3.5 degrees downward to passenger side., T-case 0 degrees.
