Ammo reloaded by somebody else?  Now how about ammo reloaded by an old guy who's passed on?

I went to a gun show today and there was an older lady selling a bunch of ammo.  Asked if she had any .243 or .308 and she said she knew she had some .308 but couldn't fit it in her little car.  Her husband labeled each box with how it's loaded, so I'm going to check out whatever she has left after the show tomorrow and see if I can get a bunch from her.

Well, I guess that's better than having no clue...  Random sample shooting oughtta give you a decent feel for how they are loaded and how consistent the loads are.

You comin' up for free turkey?   :yumyum:
My goal in life is to be as a good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

With rifle ammo u cant really mess anything up.. I mean its not like u shoot one and it blows up on u. I reload everything from .223 to .338... i would buy them if they were cheap enough...

Agreed.  I'll probably see if they're all loaded the same, and if so I'll buy a couple boxes and shoot them before buying in bulk.  If they're loaded differently I'll try and buy each setup and test it.  And yes, I'm down for some turkey!

She said $10 a box of $20.  I'm guessing she'll maybe make me a little better deal if I buy a whole bunch.

I think she said he had a heart attack or something.  From the looks of it he did a ton of reloading and might have been selling it at gun shows.  She probably had several thousand various rounds out already.
