Start with good old fashioned leafs, beat the hell out of the truck.  Later if you have gotten to the point that you think you NEED coilovers then do it.  If you jump in with both feet without your skills progressing with your truck you will probobly be dissapointed.  Im not trying to say you lack skill at all, Im saying that a solid axled truck vs. ifs vs. coilovered is a huge world of difference and its better to progress than jump steps.

plus they are just too darned expensive, even if you thought you needed em.  Just go to a Junk yard and get waggie leafs f/r and build the drop crossmember, buy the shackles, crossover, and blocks and some rs5000's and call it good.  i could build ya a drop crossmember if ya want...i am going to be building one for waggies pretty soon here. so i could just make that two
in the projects nooga, anything goes

Yeah i get what u mean. and i would be a massive jump from wheeling an ifs which won't do what i want it to already so i guess i would probally kill my self by rolling down a 200 foot bank after taking a turn to fast on road. :ack:But i would be so cool and its the exact same price to do leafs. I'm going to be  :hammer: myself over this. :-\\

If you build a good leaf pack they will flex pretty much as good as coils on a daily driver truck.  Look at mine!
