A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

I've seen that truck before, loveland, CO is like 5 miles south of me. Theres no way he's got 30,000 into it, it's really not that nice.
Common sense just isn't that common anymore

Hyena

You could put $10,000 max into it and have the exact same thing.  What a rip off.

WHITE_TRASH

It depends on what he had to start with and how he did what he did.  I have over $10k in my 84 and its got open diffs, no crawler, no nice paint job and crooked body panels.  Im not saying the guy isnt a crack smoker but its easily possible to waste that much $$ and not have much to show for it.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

It looks nice and all but for 30k it shouldn't just look nice.

Yup its almost too showy really.  Id drop 30k on a killer rig but it wouldnt look like more than about $50.

I spend more money on the drivetrain, and engine than on looks when that is done mabe I buy some nice paint job

If you look at it like this.
He buys all the work... from a guy that is no expert. he pays the guy for all the extra hours that goes into figuring out how to do this and that. he buys a nice paint job... then he rolles it and has to paint it again.  Mabe he broke some 3rds. he had to buy that again. and some birfs and bought a nice cd-player and some speakers and offcourse he had to buy fuel for the truck every now and then,
My point is it is easy whining about how much you spend in your truck,

No matter what you guys think he spent on it.  That is one of the nicest toyotas I've ever seen.  I have about 5000 in my toyota and it looks like a soda can that went through as wood chipper.
jeeps are like poopie richard, every fa@*ot has one

Skinny_Pedal

thats because u use your truck! i could take some time fix some dents and add some bodo, then paint it and get a carpet kit.  i would have one of the nicest 86runner around, but i enjoy using my stufff

30k isn't that hard to spend if your paying for the labor and that includes the price of the truck. It's probably a little bit of an exageration but I bet he could substantiate a good bit of it. I have an easy $10k in my Jimmy and you sure can't tell by looking at it but when you pur stuff like Warns and CTM in it it ads up quick.  One of the guys in my club just put $20k into a brand new Rubicon in upgrades and custom stuff. He put nearly $30k in his previous Jeep with a Warn coil set up. Thats after purches price NEW.

It doesnt list what that guy has but if your paying somebody to bulid your axles and you put in ARB's and all that goes with them. Them avalanche wheels are not cheep either. I could see him having 6k on wheels, tires, axles easy when you factor in labor. Shop doing that cage if it's tied to the frame would easily clear $2k with install labor. Rebuilt engine and tranny installed, Hell DOA gets $3200 for a RE long block not counting shipping and labor......it adds up quick if your paying labor on stuff. I just easily named off $15k. $5k for a clean truck a few years ago and there is 20k.

SWAMPER

Ok darn sorry....I still woulnt give em 10K

Maybe he means BOTH trucks?
