OBA is DONE!

preasurized it to 90 PSI (according to the gauge) and filled a tire with it!
now on to the next project : fixing motor mounts!

You will like it better if you kick the pressure up to 120psi.

yea the compressor has a pressure switch that is supposed to go to 150, but it turned off when the gauge said 90, so not quite sure what thats all about, will have to see what kind of pressure i have at the chucks. for all i know gauge might be faulty. which would suck cause it was a pain to get in.

correction: according to ARB site compressor only does 100

Update:
started it, took it out of the garage, drove it up and down the street, re organized the garage, put it back in the garage.
found some bomb proof motor mounts for $30, aaaaannnndddd, thats about it.

No round up for me this year $I\'m Down$ thats ok, next year i should have my trailer and tow rig tow ready.

yea, it does need a walk, but i cant go if i cant get the time off. might be able to make it up to the rim a few times for a day trip, but thats probably it. maybe ill get my suspension done, ahaha

problem is i already gave the dates i wanted off, would be kinda suspicious if i was sick on those days. its ok, i probably need to take a slow year anyway, house stuff comes first and right now there is a ton of it.

To me, them telling you that you can't take off the time, especially with this kinda advanced notice, is a

way of saying you're a valued employee. How can they possibly know that it wouldn't be feasible for you to be away then? Chrystal ball?

to me it says "we dont want to do your job while your gone" it also says "f-u" i should take advantage of it and get my ruf, histeer and 3 link rear done. who wants in on that?

so i started to put in my new motor mounts, got the new ones on, and now they wont line up, passenger side does but driver side is back about a half inch, is there a trick to this? maybe remove the bolts on the cross member so it moves better? i remember having problems with the last set too, but i was able to get it in with help.

Which part did you bolt on to which part first? if that makes any sence.

I always put them on the frame loosely first. Then maneuver the engine about with a jack, pry bar, or cherry picker to get the rest of the holes to line up.

not sure if i explained that clearly enough.

got the motor mounts in with the help of my bro and my own winch haha. also installed the flex a light fan i got for it and its up and running! right now its hooked up to the issolated side of the added on acc stuff, might change that as i already drove it up and down the street without turning it on (idiot) so i need to either make a sign or just have it hooked up to come on when the key does! all ready for my bachelor party woot woot!
