thinking about going this week,and wondering if it's open and if so has anyone been there recently.

i passed by it last weekend coming out of the con and it was open, cant comment on it being open this week.  try checking out the forest service site or something to do with el dorado county ohv trails

If they got rain up that way this weekend, I'd guess it's closed. THey tend to close the gate when that trail gets wet.

trail was open and we had a great time.we got a late start and only went about halfway,but still an awesome trail,can't wait to get the whole 4 miles.
