My cousin is having a hard time putting his smog hoses in the right spots after rebuilding his 22r(Carb) motor on an 84 Toy. Does any one have any pics or know any websites to go to. We've tried the Chiltons, and Haynes manuals and they suck. :crossed:
Thx

Im in the same boat, autozone carries new carbs for these trucks so im just replacing mine. I think the best route is to take a picture of the carb first then take off all the hoses. Mine is CA smog so its a complete nightmare. Sorry cant help ya though

if the stock sticker on the hood isn't there anymore, they can be had for around 5 bucks from toyota.

hey is the truck in sunnyvale?  if it is i could stop by on my way home from work and lend a hand.  i've work on a lot of 22r's and thier carbs.

I've got an 84 CARB'ed Yota in Santa Clara if you want to look under the hood!? I just passed SMOG 2 weeks ago and everything is still there. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow night anyhow...

I like the street lethal by weber. I seem to have a little more power but its at least the same. also i can run an open element cleaner between smogs. the stocker goes right back on with ease.

If you don't know why I have a "D" in Toyoda you don't know Toyotas!!
