hole in my frame !!!

ok so i found a rust hole in my frame right below were the front shackle goes ... so i was thinking of cutting it out and weldind in a solid plate, and then mounting my shackles below the frame. my question is were can i get a front shackle mount if anyweres or does anyone have a better idea ??

I would not mount your shackle below the frame as that will mess up your pinion angle as well as your caster/camber.... just weld plates in and make new holes for shackle tubes would be the right way to do it...

I have had a few frame repairs done on my trucks, and they never cut out the frame, they grind it down and clean it up, and weld heavy plates to the frame.

defanately don't go below the frame it looks hella weak. My buddy bought a truck and that is how it is now  go threw the frame after plating much stronger
