if you put a locking cap on they will then go right through the gas tank filler hose under the fender well. a couple of idiots around here would leave the siphon hose wrapped around the filler neck there for the next time they hit.
toyminator2000 – There has to be dumb people in order for there to be smart people
Don't you wish you could arrange for them to have an accident? Maybe something that will remind them of the dangers of flammible liquids and sparks...
last weekend we had 500 gallons deisel stollen out of a long haul truck. that right there takes dedication....and a GOOD pump
fixed it for you. must have had a modified fillrite...even the good small fuel pumps only do like 50gal/hr
ya, i cant imagine what they did. they did not damage the tank at all, and pulled 500, maybe 490 gallons in a span of 5 hours we where gone. it was bone dry
It will gravity feed at a very high rate...about 60 to 100 gallons a minute.
no drain, didnt remove it.i think it was an industrial pump like you see in the bed of service trucks or refueling trucks

ive had gas taken from both of my toyotas now. both siphoned i believe. the truck i found the cap on the ground and didnt even realize it was mine. took bout 3/8 tank from that. got a locking gas cap after this. itll help at least, probably makem move onto the next rig insteada mine at least. which sucks for whoever else, but sorry.
The ONLY perk to running propane!
There ya go, Fixed it for ya
I do have a locking cap and I do feel a sense of security from it.I understand people can simply cut my filler neck or drill a hole in the tank..........but at least someone's gonna have to work to get to my precious black gold.I figure it this way: If someone really wants something thaaaaat bad, they will get it. However, if my truck with a locked fuel cap is parked next to another truck without a locked fuel cap, they are far more likely to grab fuel from the unlocked fuel tank.Especially beings that my 1st gen truck doesn't have a locking fuel door, it is waaaaay tooooo easy to access fuel on 1st gens. Open fuel door, open fuel cap. I don't want to give anyone "that easy" access to my fuel.BigMike
thats pretty much my thought too. its not gonna stop anybody if they want it, but its probably enough to make them move on to the next car.
TOTALLY AGREE. IF THEY REALLY WANT IT, THEY WILL GET IT. LOCKING GAS CAPS ARE LIKE FENCES, THEY ONLY KEEP THE HONEST PEOPLE OUT, BUT THE MINUTE A DUMB@$$ COMES AROUND, THEY WILL GET WHAT THEY WANT
