How important is it to have matching shocks front and rear?  I have the Marlin 12 inche Bilstein's and I'm considering Rancho 9000's for the rear so I can firm up the ride on the highway when loaded up.  I don't have the coin for a full matching set or I would replace all four.

I love the Bilstein ride as long as the 4Runner isn't load with passengers or for camping (plus 130 lb dog), then it gets the wabbles a bit.

i dont think it matters.....

i ran crap replacement shocks and procomp es3000s on the back, and could tell the back was way better.....

as long as you arent running different shocks left and right, you should be fine
