Just like the title says...iam going to be welding a muffler and down pipes for my cousin at him house, but i have a huge 50 lb co2 tank and i was wondering if it was ok to leave it in the bed of my truck, laying on its side while welding?? I just dont want to have to take that beast down for a couple of minutes and i dont want to stand it up in my bed because the last thing i want is it to be falling from that high!.....and my tank has a dip tube if that matters in this situation.

if you want to use a dip tube tank, you'll have to turn it upside down...you want gas, not liquid.  This is not paintball.

i was thinking that same thing but i got a hell of a deal on this tank so i bought it thinking if any thing ill just swap it in for a tank w/o the dip tube but this tank was suprisingly FULL, so i tried it and it works just fine!
