« on: Jul 09, 2008, 04:47:25 PM »
its a 95 v6 runner... a/c works whenever it wants too... when you start the car cold the a/c works fine i mean ice cold..  after a while the a/c is dead then you'll start to smell something sour...and warm air start to flow through...there is no leak cause it works everytime the truck is start up cold and the only time is when the car is warm..

any suggestion anyone...

Check and make sure the AC clutch stays engaged  when it starts to blow hot.

is your electric fan working?  sound like your ac got hot and built too much pressure  and the high lo switch cut off the ac .    or go get cheap ac guage from auto part store  to see where your pressure at

. Your freon level could be low or high also you could have a expansion valve freezing up on you
