How long are your stock springs?

How long are Chevys?

Have you measured?

chevies and ford wont just bolt right in they both require  relocating the front hanger

well most springs will require moving your spring hangers. it just depends on your budget also

I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

I'm thinking on using some 51 inch springs from a newer Toyota. i think i can still use the stock hangers and it well only move the axle back 1 inch. should make it ride better than the 48's I'm running now.

if you want 4 or 5 inch lift then the marlin springs would be the way to go. i think the stock 51's  would only lift it 1 or 2 inch's.  what size tires are you running or planning to run?

I don't really like the 63" chevys because they are LONG..  I hit more rocks than I like with them.  I used the sky kit(pic of aaronb) and the front spring hanger will catch/stop me on rocks.  (it ramps up to steep, need to french them in)  I went with them because they were "Cheap" compaired to other lifts.  If I were to do it again, I'd pick a shorter spring and french in the front hanger (or make a longer ramp)

Ive seen the 56" chevys in action and love those (on full size, one tons)  Haven't seen the fords, and most *new* springs need alot of break in time.

Almost all these set ups will need a antiwrap bar of some sort once you start attempting waterfalls.
