hey guys,i'm looking to get a motor put in my 85 p/u.i have a blown head gasket on my 22re with 250,000 miles.just wanted to get some opinions on where to go.

Yeah, that motor is crap, you should replace it with a 3rz, let me know when you want me to pick up the blown up 22re.

I just blew my head gasket today, is it an extensive task ro replace a 22re head gasket? i watch my roomate do one on a 87 v6 yota motor, looked rough. Any pointers?

Its not to bad...if you have never had a motor apart i would not reccomend doing it yourself, might as well get a timing chain kit, resurface the head and do it right though
