Paradise/Chico/Humboldt fire

Just an update on this one... my dad got evacuated on Thurs.. his home is where the X is below. He got to go home yesterday.  Too damn many fires so far :headshake:



Fire nears containment

Butte County's fire siege appears to be nearing an end as full containment of the Humboldt Fire is expected by this evening.
As of 7 a.m. today the blaze was reportedly 90 percent contained, according to Cal Fire-Butte County.

Officially the blaze has consumed 23,344 acres. At the same time 74 residents and eight outbuildings have been destroyed. An additional 20 homes have been damaged.

my stepfathers house burned down in the fire, he lived on neal, approx where the farthest northwest part of the red color is near the #191
'85 EFI X cab SR5. 42" Iroks, Dual ultimates etc.
'84 Std. cab  Yota, Chevy 4.3 swapped (makes v8's cry)
'88 4 Runner 39.5" Iroks FJ80 front, taco rear elockers dual ultimates
'07 Toyota Tundra crew max 5.7 (grocery getter/tow rig)
'14 Camry SE

that really sucks... i was out there the other day with my dad and went down neal road. it was an eye opener and really sucked seeing everything that got burnt to the ground

i have a few picture, nothing fancy but ill post them up later on

damn bro sorry to hear about your your step dads house, That :pokinit: sucks...My mom lives on neal also but the fire was still about 1/2 mile from her, guess your cuz's house made it though

yeah they really lucked out, i heard that their house burned down from an obviously unreliable source, and i was hella worried for them but i guess they kept the place watered down and it made it  :yesnod:

FIREBALL

I had to run a medical aid for a head injury on Neal right when the fire was coming through. It was really ugly in there. That kind of fire intensity is way too extreme for this early in the year.

Dude I"m sorry to hear bout your stepdad's place.  That's so tragic... all the fires last week - so many homes lost :rivers:
