Dog swept up, killed by NYC street sweeping truck

NEW YORK (AP) - A New York City man is grieving after a street-sweeping truck roaring down a Bronx street sucked up his dog and killed her while he was holding the leash.

Is it wrong that I enjoyede this story? I just visualize some p-whipped Woody Allen type walking the dogs and BLAMMO! Try explaining that to his S/O.

How could he not have seen the thing coming and pulled the leash, and therefor the dog out of the way? Sounds like a I'm gonna sue kinda scam, to me.
