Well we sold house after only 18 days on the market. Now the fun begins, we were hoping to be in Nashville area by August first so the kids can start school. My wife was stressing because she wasn't sure she could get a transfer. We were going to fly out June, 25 to look at houses. She got a transfer yesterday has to start June, 30. That leaves me and the kids here to get packed, hopefully she can get a little time off to come home and drive out with me. 2,300 miles in a u haul with 2 dogs, should be fun.

Man, the moving part always sucks.  The destination can be cool, but the process sucks!

Good luck, and have fun.  I moved an average of every 2 years growing up, so I got used to it.

We got some good friends just moved out there, cost of living is way cheaper, no California political crap. Once your a resident you can cash and carry firearms. I think the price was right... I will walk away from it with over $100K. once my current mortgage is paid and the realtors get there fees. Then and most importantly, I will get to buy a new Toy.

Nashville is a great place. I still miss it from time to time. Mt. Juliet is a real nice area. I envy you.
