i think you just pull the single wire  plug out of the light assembly  and replace it with a  2 prong plug :dunno:

On the taco you have to add a second bulb or change the stock socket to a 2 filament socket and bulb.  But on a earlier truck just cut the white wires (grounds) for the parking and running lights and connect the green with stripe wire from the blinker to the old ground wire connected to the marker socket. Voila park/turn signal light all in one bulb with no hacking of a corner light necessary.  You'll have to swap in a electronic flasher module if you don't like the blinkers being fast, a EL-12 from Napa is a cheap electronic flasher that works great.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
