19 DX IV Compact CB Radio

does any one have any info on this CB "19 DX IV Compact CB Radio" is it worth keeping or just go out and get a new one
:) nothing worth wheeling other than a YOTA :)

I have the same one...its Cobras cheapest model...not sure how it works because I never hooked mine up

that dont do me much good i have mine hooked up but i was only able to find one channel with some one on it but sense then i havent found any thing every chanel is besy dont know why i think its just the CB

i have no idea i don't know any thing about CBs the antennas are the dual ones that bolt to the mirrors

Go to a single ant.  The reason is a single will work in a 360* range, while the duals work in a single line.  Forward and backwards.  This is why you see truckers running duals, that way the ant. can send and receive signals along the hwy, and not from the surrounding area along the hwy.  Go get a good tuneable ant. and a swr meter to help tune it in.  Your cb should work fine.  There are better ones out there, but they are all regulated to 4 watts, unless you can find one that has been "tweaked" to put out!

thanks for the info now i have to fix my finder flares cause thats where my antenna are now
