Newbie from Bama!!!
« on: Jul 18, 2004, 02:10:38 PM »
Hey everybody! I'm Jason, live in central Alabama. Look forward to tip swaping and good trail talk! My rig is an 87 4runner with the normal goodies, solid axle swap with Longfields and Toyota E-locker moved 2" forward, Alcan springs, Marlin dual cases and twin stick, rear buggy leafs, custom bumpers, detroit rear locker with 5:29's all 'round. 36" Swampers for that Alabama sticky mud on bart beadlocks, and a just completed motor swap to a inline 6 supra motor..... fuk a 4.3 I'm keepin it Yota! I'f anybody's ever on this side of the world hit me up and we'll go ride, we have a great club here which is always holding killer events.

I go to grayrock when I work C.A.O.S. events there, other than that Iwould like to but I just am not into paying alot of money to go ride when theres fun ass trails all around for free.
The motors an 86 6M it's the Jap spec motor, not many of them imported, not much different from the 5M. I think it has a longer stroke and slighty bigger bore. To me the in line 6 is one of Toyotas best motors though.

LAL- Where abouts in Bama are you?

I am a huge fan of the Supra six.  In fact, all Supra motors were originally built for trucks.   :eyebrow:

LAL, Greyrock is no doubt a killer place to ride, I would love to go their every weekend, but in reality I'm poor, especially after truck build ups/repairs. It's nice to have a relaxing weekend where the only thing I have to pay for is what I break. My club is working on leasing land right now that will be cheap to ride and maintained by us. It's just caught up in red tape. E-mail me when you want to go riding up here, theres plenty of free trails we can hit thats goooood riding.

Trust me, the camera takes off ten years. All the Toyota info is telling me about 200HP. I't is a night and day difference from the 22r. I'm havig problems with the mass air flow meter right now, so it's getting to be aggravating but I'll get it worked out.
