BTW...how's business?

We're still on a soft opening feeding off the Jiffylube residuals, we've got some major advertising in the coming weeks on the radio and we are also a major sponsor for a bartender competition at one of the local casino's in June and that will give some major exposure to us. Snowbirds are gone too so we expect to be a little slow. It does seem to be picking up day to day usually 1 to 2 more cars a day. Valvoline is also going to do a "Welcome To The Neighborhood" campain for us in the coming weeks on the radio too. Most of the business we are getting has been word of mouth. How many hassle free oil/lube shops are around. Not to many from what I understand, most end up being a high pressure sale pitch. When people come here they get what they ask for and no pushy sales pitch. Of course I do tell them the observations we noticed and that they should be attended to even those we can't handle. I expect to be slow through the summer and get the big bang when the snowbirds come back to roost.

Putting green!? Don't you see the driving range on the other side of my truck? Oh well I'm going out to Johnson Valley at 0530 so I'm going to bed.

I love the idea of no sales pressure with that lube job! A no lube-job lube job! LOL
I don't like taking my vehicles anywhere because of that, I'd rather do it myself than have some idiot trying to sell me things I don't want.

Ha, you must be a little fella then... :therethere:

Actually I'm 6'2"

Those were the only rocks I have to work with, it will get better the one in the rear is actually a fairly decent sized rock, and FYI my truck is fairly stock, I'd love to see you get your Prius on those would be fun to watch. I have to admit it does look like one of those Hummer displays and works just as good, I've already had people notice it sitting there it's in a very visible spot.

Yeah, you know I'm JK, if you had taken a picture from the back or the other side it would have looked a bit more extreme.
I can't wait to see it with a nice rock garden put in there
