A Huge Thanks to all who sponsored & attended our 2nd anual Swap Meet in Placerville!!!! Even with the heat hitting 100 degrees, quite a few folks showed up both to buy and sell. The big surprise was when a new shop in town JEEPCAMPING.COM showed up and gave us a 12.5k winch for the Raffle. Needless to say, ticket sales went through the roof (Thanks Guys). And a big Thank You to our sponsors...Marlin Crawler, Inchworm Gear, Davez Offroad, Jeepers Jamboree, In & Out Burgers, Gilmore Heating & Air, Poly Performance, Jeepcamping.com, K & B Enterprises, Del Albright (any folks I might have missed mentioning) and The Mountain Democrat for donating the use of their facility for our event (an awsome venue for our type of event).
Thanks also to all of the groups who showed up to man booths for the many organizations that were represented...USFS, FOTR, El Dorado SAR, Rubicon Trail Foundation, Sherrif's Rubicon Patrol (Thanks Merlin), Blue Ribbon Coalition, Jeepers Jamboree, These groups all had folks who spent a day out in the heat to help educate and inform the public on many aspects of proper land use and the various roles they all play in keeping our trails open & safe, to all who volunteered their time a Heart felt thank you, and if I missed any group I apologize...it's been a long week!
