4:70's on the way

My 4:70's are in transit. I have an 85 with an auto, but I have an 87 tcase and W56 to swap in. Can't wait to get it in.  Anybody know how much slower it will be with the 4:70s instead of the auto low range?  Big difference or barely noticeable?

you will be able to walk faster than it will move.
if you got really bored you could walk circles around it.

Hey tbam,

With the 4.70:1 gears, you should be around 90:1 in low range. I've never seen an auto in low range, but I would put money on the 4.7's to be slower on flat ground. Now going down hill, I 100% guarantee the 4.7's to be much much much slower and you do not need to ride your brakes ever where you go!
