I ain't never seen a shorty header for 22r motor, but in your position, I would find a cheap long tube header used and cut it down to the size I wanted.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

I have a thorley header on my truck and it clears the frame just fine.  Its actually closer to the floor after I flat bellied the truck.  I ended up cutting the flange that came with it off almost to where the 2 tubes become 1 and welded on a 2 1/2" collector..
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

LCE has one designed for Ftoys

http://www.toyotacatalog.net/M1WebGear/ProductDetails.aspx?PartUniqueID=CDC59188-99C4-4D30-8921-1111EC8F078A

go to pirate and do a search on "thorley headers" and read the good (when they were actuall thorleys) and the bad (now that Doug sold the design & are farmed out by Summit and its a crap shoot on the quality )
then read about LCE's headers, the only thing that you'll see people pregnant dog about is the price, which the summit thorley headers are just as much as LCE's now  :suprised:
but we're talking shorty's right? and thorley doesnt make a shorty. Your choices for a shorty are LCE or Heddman

I almost bought one (Thorley) from Summit untill the price was the same as an LCE :suprised:
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?Ntt=thorley+header&N=700+4294907680+4294925044+115+4294864938&Ntk=KeywordSearch

And I take back that Thorley doesnt make a shorty, they do but its for a 3.0

The price jump is just retarded...  LCE makes nice stuff but there is no way I can justify spending that much money on their stuff... I just can't do it...

The nice thing about the downey is you can make whatever down tube you want, so routing it around something else or up high isn't an issue.  I have one that I've considered selling if I end up using my nwor header.

i did some fabin on my downpipe and it  gave me alot of room under the truck. i would recomend doing that befor the flat belly. My pipe sits above the top of the frame an inch. just a thought.... :beerchug:
