oilpan/hysteer clearance

 I have a little problem here,just put hysteer on my 94 toy with 3.0L and the tierod hits the oilpan.Someone told me i could change oilpans but didn't know to what..
  Been searching and can't find any info,can any body help me?

are you using Lukes kit from 4x4 labs?
85 p/u, marlin#208, built 22R on propane, old school longs, 5.29's / detroits, bobbed, chopped, and flopped

you need to cut the oil pan or put a ridiculous amount of lift to clear it.
go to "check my rear's up front" in project research and build up.
88 4runner v6,
5.29 with 35" tires,
Isuzu Rodeo rear disk brake,
t-case hand brake in near futur

pull the oil pan off but first mark where it is hitting and look on the inside and see if there will be any clearance problems with hammering it in you will loose oil capacity going that route but hey ya gotta do what ya gotta do

I guess thats why you can move your axle 3 1/3 inches forward on the springs with there hysteer , those hysteer arms must be pretty tall

Just checking to see if you have had any luck..i slighlty bent my tie rod and whapped the pan a few times, I have about 2 inches from the pan to rod, and that is at full compression

3.0 T100 oil pans supposedly have less drop to the front of them, and bolt up to the 3.0 minitruck motor no problem. Also, as for steering contact issues, I found that if you used the older style crossover steering arms, and mounted the lower end of your drag link to the bottom side of the passenger arm (same part of the arm that the draglink normally bolts into, just under instead of on top), you will actually gain a bit more clearance than high steer arms offer.
