how much you plan on welding??  all day every day??

the digital just lets you fine tune how the lense reacts to an arc light....

couple friends in my welding classes had the elites, awesome helmet, comfortable, windows a little bit bigger than my jackson  next gen eqc.... either way the more you spend, the better the product..

also, since your probably gonna be doin fab work on a truck with it, my jacksons too big, a buddy's speedglas is sickkk... its real slim n has shade 10s on the sides in case you cant turn your head and the hood far enough to see, but their $$$

I have the Boss Jackson EQC, the lens is huge, twice the size of most hoods. it has torch mode for cutting and clear for grinding, works great!
My instructor has a speed glass which seems to work out well for him.

I went from a Huntsman 951 (non auto) big window to a Miller Elite recently and holy :pokinit: what a huge difference, I can actually see !  I dont have the digital but highly recommend the Miller auto hoods
