Another Bottom Knuckle Pin Question?
« on: Apr 03, 2008, 08:32:17 AM »
Does anyone know what kind or wear this bottom knuckle plate/pin comes from?  It has an offset pin and stamped on the bottom for positive/negetive adjustment to flip 180*.  Also stamped on bottom "INGALLS 700 TOYOTA 4X4 PART#C-3/4 PAT. PEND".

thats some crazy aftermarket  adjustment  cap  for  either a bent housing  or a busted bearing  that should have been replaced instead of a bandaid fix like that

No, its the one in the other side.  I had those type on my truck since I got it. I thought they were stock until now. Just wondering if anyone else has come accross any of them?

I got a bent housing from a junk yard once with smaller upper trunion bearings.  The race was offcenter from the outer so depending on how you put the race it it would adjust the camber.  Last I heard les schwab's could get them for $100 each.....
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Aftermarket plate for adjusting the camber is my guess. Sort of hokey looking.

I bet they were made by this company at one time;

 :respect:

Yes, I just got off the phone with them.  They do not make them anymore.  They made 3 different offsets 1/4",1/2",3/4".  They might have some packed away in their shop.  I asked for some more info and history on them. How many they might have sold, when they stopped making, ect. Someone is going to get back to me on it...
