questions about a 1990 Toy

1. what gear ratio would a 1990 reg cab short box Toyota pickup have for R & P gears.
2. How do you tell what the gear ratio is. If the ring gear has 38 teeth or 40 teeth
3. Are the pumpkins interchangeable front and rear on a independent suspension like they are on a solid axle

1. & 2. you look up the axle code then go to this site, and determine what you have http://toyota.off-road.com/toyota/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=274535

3. no, the front axle is a 7.5" IFS differential, the rear axle is a 8" rear diff (same diff as the solid axle)
