Help needed to Keep High Lakes access open until Spring thaw(issue resolved)

For those of you who don't visit Pirate, here is a post stating Butte County is going to close the access into the High Lakes for unsafe conditions on the bridge.

There is a serious issue with snow on a bridge on the only currently legal way into The High Lakes.

We need some bodies with working shovels and backs tomorrow morning F R I D A Y M A R C H 28 8:00 am ! Magalia

Before we plan or try to get a skip loader or Mahindra into the bridge, a work crew is meeting tomorrow morning (Friday 3/28) at 8:00 am at Dolly O's in Magalia to head in with rock salt, sand and salt mix and plain sand and shovels and picks and attempt to cure the problem just ahead of a closure of the entire road by Butte County as being unsafe for travel.

If you see this and can help us, please post up, or call Ken at 873 - 2430 We need some people, shovels, and a desire to save a closure of the only legal way into The High Lakes until after a normal snow melt of 8+ feet!

If we fail to get it fixed Friday, then Saturday we may attempt some other heavy equipment.

Please Help if you can! But let us know what you can and will do, and can bring.
