Well.....it's a done deal!!!!!  Thought we might have a limited turnout due to the predicted 100+ heat, but the heat didn't stop alot of folks from showing up and making this a big event.  Many Thanks to Marlin & Chris for their generous donation to our raffle (there will be some happy kids come xmas when we roll out the Bikes once again!  Hope to see more of you out there next year......about the same time and hopefully at the same location as it was a great venue!  Bob

Just curious but are there prizes for the show and shine?

Yes...there are awards for the catagories listed.....Trophy / Plaque for 1st place and certs for 2nd & 3rd places in each catagory........

Just talked with Dennis Kordonowy of VORRA and his son will be manning an information booth at the event and, if they don't destroy it at the next race, will be bringing their Desert Racer for display and answering any questions folks may have concerning the desert side of things!

Hopefully it will end up being a fairly big event...we got a slow start last year but learned alot.  Also the Yota swap meet in Stockton is a no go this year which should help our cause......getting lots of various stuff...even a guy who does the 4x4 RC stuff is wanting to come and set up a rock course and have RC cars running to show off his stuff.  Hopefully something for everyone.  Got a couple food vendors lined up and there be fast food close by.  Also a much better venue this year as the Mt. Democrat is in an old Luckys building so has a huge lot where as last year we had 3 lots on a corner which had too many folks crossing the streets!  A bit nuts for me as I'm working this and trying to get ready for a 10 day Moab trip...get back and 12 days later do the swap meet!!!!!  OK, then 6 weeks more to Rubithon which I am Camp chair on so I be a busy boy!!!
