and to "pull" the lug into the hub just put a large nut and a washer under the lug nut and torque till it sucks it all the way inor do it my way, but i wouldnt unless you have new seals and new bearingshttp://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=19916.msg497750#msg497750
That is a real iffy way to put them back in (yes I use to do it). It streches the lug stud making them more prone to break.
Stretches the lugstud? If that is the case then you'd better not tighten your lugnuts...
It doesn't even take half of that to install one so how could it be damaging the stud...?
Hmmm, I wonder if it has to do with the brand of the studs.
