The Panty Wagon
« on: Feb 26, 2008, 06:30:33 PM »
my room mate picked up this 95 ex cab 4wd 3RZ taco for $4 or 500 i think a year ago that included a blown head gasket, head cracked in 3 small places, 3rd gear done, an some girls XXL panties left over from the previous owner (friend). its a slow build but finally things are starting to get rolling on it. its going to have a full width chevy 44 under it. the bed is bobbed 13" already. the rear end will be taken out and a 60 will be put in the back or a 14 bolt. most likely a 60. heres a picture of it and more to come over time as time progress'.....

so far the heads been fixed, all the new gaskets were picked up today and the axle is in the garage cleaned up with a new pass side flat top knuckle.

Cool guys another tacoma being built.  I don't know what it is but all of a sudden there are a lot more tacomas being built.  They must be getting cheap enough to buy and justify cutting up.  I sure know that I wouldn't trade my tacoma for an older gen truck.

ya i expected that and also over the course of the next 3-4 years your going to see TONS built because of the price drop on them. i want to pick one up someday (01-04 gen) and swap all my junk onto it after my trucks toast.

Just do a grill swap.  The 01-04's are going to hold their value longer than say a 96 obviously.  My buddy got his for 5500 with only 110,000 on it.  Runs like a champ and thats really not a bad price.  Infernals truck is a 96 I believe with a 01 front clip.  The only thing you need to change is the grill/headlights/hood.  All the rest on all the tacomas are the same!
