so today was supposed to be my first day back to work in 2 weeks and we get sent home because of the rain.  I have been sitting at home for the last couple weeks because of the rain that we got last month.  The worst part about it is i can't even go skiing on the new snow because i can't spend money if i'm not making any.   :soapbox:  that is all

at least then i could get disability insurance payout.  don't get me wrong i like the rain it fills up the lakes and makes snow it just sucks when it makes it so you can't go to work

Man I hear you. I have been out off work for about a month and we are supposed to go back to work next week but if it keep raining it mite be tow weeks. the worst part is I not getting unemployment because some one ells has filled under my social security #.

That blows. Any idea on who it is? An honest clerical error or ID theft?

they wouldn't tell me . I asked for a name but all they can tell me is that there is another clame under that social # . It could be some one just entered wrong info

Man, I'd be all over that. If it's an error...they need to investigate. If it's ID theft...they and you need to investigate.

Its hard and after you select what LANGUAGE you want to talk in you have to waite on the phone for ever and there is a investigation in progress

I know this may sound odd coming from me...but call your state and US representatives...senate and house, try to get them to cut through the bs for you..

I could do that , but I'm going to Waite the 2-3 weeks they tole me after I called them back on the 19th . if nothing hapens by then I will have to start taking names and kicking ass and I cant spell so you know what that means.  LOL

I used to hate working in the rain when I worked at the tire shop, but now I love the rain and actually enjoy it!  Except when the grass needs to be mowed.

I dig a good rain storm because it means my favorite local trail will get washed out and we get a whole new trail everytime...  It rained here yesterday and today.  I can't wait to go check the wash.  :yesnod:



Out of work does suck though, all the fun stuff takes money.
