Basically I want a ARB bull bumper without the $800 price.  So far I've heard of TJM bullbumpers which may have something for my truck and FROR which I have to call and see if they still make anything for the truck.  Smittybilt is nice but they discontinued them.  Anything else? :hammerhead:

Will do, any others?

Edit:  I just realized front range is the same as FROR, but thanks anyway.

You can also frequently find old Smittybilt bumpers FS as well. Like $200 or less for a front/rear set.  Though mounting a winch on it is um... interesting.

I hame a Marlin front on my Runner. On New Years eve an 03 Cadillac pulled directly in front of me and took a 40mph hit in the side.My bumper was slightly tweaked only do to the fact that it only had the front  4 mounting bolts in it.The Cadillac is probably in a 24"x24" cube form right about now sitting in the scrap yard.Doesnt get much more heavy duty than that!!

building your own is the way to go. I built mine and have it to where my tow bar connects to it so als you have to do is pull a cupple pins and drop the tow bar. I have hit trees and rocks with it and no problems

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike
