Thought I'd post this on this board in case anyone wants to come along...

Saturday & Sunday,June 14-15 We are doing a south of the border run in case anyone is interested.We are meeting up in Murrieta,(near San Diego) on Saturday morning and caravaning to the Otay Mesa border where we will meet up with The Zopilotos(A Tijuana,Mexico based 4x4 club).We will run Jacume,a rock trail south of the border and then load up and head to Rosarito where we will get hotel rooms for the night.On Sunday morning we're gonna head over to the Cantamar sand dunes and play there for the day and then load up and head to Puerto Nuevo,where we're gonna have lobster and then head home.the farthest distance I believe is about 35-40 miles south of the border.I'll post some more info later.

Sounds like a great trip. 8) Mark me in as a maybe for now. I'll either be wheeling in TJ or visiting family in Texas.

Hey Peps,  I got your message this morning. I went to bed early yesterday.  Wasn't feeling well.  I'll call you later on tis afternoon.  Gotta ask you a couple of questions.

Yeah you sent those to me a few months back.  Those were some of the better pictures taken from that night.  Looking at those I'm surprised I didn't get more body damage than I did.  Seems like we took care of the problems that kept me from going all the way on that trail.

Got the crawler from Marlin ( Thank you very much Marlin Crawler inc. ) and we made an anti wrap bar to keep that rear axle from twisting my rear springs into pretzels.  I would like to try it again this weekend, unfortunately I have someone with me that has to get back by 8:30 pm on Saturday night.  I think there is another run out there in March or something.  Anyway.

Are you bringng the "Macho Taco" this weekend to the clean up.  I can't wait to see that thing up close.  I'll have The Beast" out there.

I'm thinking of starting another project.  A late model 4runner sport 2wd that I will swap into 4wd put a solid axle under it, probably a Diamond with either a high nine or an fj80 9.5 but we'll see.  Thats still on the drawing board.  Plus I need to get it out of my wifes grip.
