Front Axle Housing and inner axles
« on: Feb 01, 2008, 08:30:57 PM »
I have an 84 front housing that has had the knuckles "cut and turned" to relieve the front U joint angle problems of a "tall lifted" truck.  The housing has been trussed all the way across and has a HUGE diff guard that is really overkill, it could be removed fairly easy if you wanted.  It has been turned to 28 deg. and I ran this on my V-8 S-10 for several years with ZERO problems. Shipping on this is going to suck because of the weight but for $100.00 you can't go wrong.

I have a nearly new 27 spline Long that has only one weekend of wheeling on it.  I will ship it anywhere inside the US for $175.00!

I have 2 stock inner axles in good shape.  $60.00 for the pair gets them shipped to you anywhere inside the US.

I am located in Eugene OR and would lower the prices on the Birf and inners if I don't have to ship.

Thanks

Stewy

I only bought one as I needed to replace a "broken" old style Birf.  Less then 60 days after the purchase of it, I made the jump to 30 splines.

You want it?

Yeah, its so expensive that its funny...  If you are "serious" and want it I will look into some other type of shipment to get it to you, I know a handful of folks who could probably get it down to you for A LOT less then UPS.

Ok, it weighs 74 lbs and is 49" wide (as is any toy mini truck axle) and 12" in height.  So to keep it simple it would fit in a 49" x 12" x 12" size box / crate.

I don't know of anybody off hand traveling that way but all I would need to do is make a few phone calls, send out a few emails and I am 95% sure I could find someone (with some networking) headed down your way.  Are you interested enough that I should start this process???
