No Zerk fittings??

OK, I don't have any zerk fittings on any of my ball joints and steering linkages!  Is this normal?  There isn't even a hole where the zerk would screw into.   :screwy:  I really don't want to go and buy all new parts just so I can make sure they got grease on a regular basis.  (87 toy)

my 86 had no zerks eather.  :dunno:  just the way they built them.
