Come on. We'd love to have some visitors come wheel with us. I will have to warn you though, our rocks here in the south are wet and muddy with almost no traction. Sometimes you just can't crawl it so you got to use the skinny pedal and smoke the tires.

Yeah it is a whole new ball game down in these parts! looking good man

We've got some awesome trails down here, but they are getting closed at an alarming rate. :rivers: We try to do our part to keep them open, but it seems that for every responsible wheeler we have 15 drunken rednecks trashing our trails. Lately the enviro nazis have been on us too.  :headshake:  It's a constant battle.

This is one of my favorite trails. It's named Mt. Everest.

This is a fun obstacle also. We have a lot of waterfalls like this one down here.

I wonder if they fenced those areas off and had a cover charge if it would weed out some of the screw ups and then they could afford to have the place monitered and sometimes supervision will eleminate the rough ones.    It just sucks to loose trails.

That would be a good idea to do throughout the world where they have problems with peolpe screwing up and/or leaving their trash on the trails.

And yes pics and/or vids would really be great.............If it's possible.

That vid is in the summer when it's dry, these trails are much worse when it rains.

Ya'll better hurry up if you want to wheel those trails. I predict they will be closed in the near future.

If anyone wants to come wheel with us just let me know, those trails are only about 20 min from my house, so I'm up for wheelin any time.

How come you think those trails will be closed soon?

skipnrocks... i think this may answer that question?
Why do you say that? Just curious what was I doing that would get a trail closed? Smoking the tires is called wheeling down here in the south.

I was referring to a lot of different things that are pointing toward a closure. One entrance to the trail is about to be developed into bluff housing lots, and there are a bunch of people who just don't respect the land or landowners around here.

What do ya'll think of my exo cage design?  I tried to stay minimal on the tubing and keep it close to the body.

Thanks, I built this cage and all the tube work on my '89 with a $79 Harbor Freight bender and 1.250" sch 40 pipe. Can't complain with it.

Here's some more of my tube work with the Harbor Frieght bender. I built everything you see on my '89 with it.

looks damn good for a HF bender....did you have any kinking?

bluetoy84

No kinking. It does flatten the tube just a little on the tighter bends, and it leaves a dimple on each side of the bend from the rollers. It definately takes some patience to get the bends right, but I can't complain for a $79 bender.

All the tube work on the '89 has held up great and it has seen some hard hits.
