Farmington, MO Off Road Park
« on: Jan 15, 2008, 11:42:38 AM »
Ok.   the 2 local jeep thing clubs are going the new off road park in Farmington nearly every weekend.  I'm thinking that maybe they're on to something.  Is anyone interested in trying to schedule are day or weekend trip there within the next couple of months?  I really don't wanna go there with the jeep guys if i can help it.

The park is located about an hour south of St. Louis.

Actually Farmington is on Hwy 67, which runs in between I55 and Hwy 21.  This is near Elephant Rock State park.  They had a primative website up until last month.  I think they are developing a new one.  It just opened to trucks in 11/07 but has been a motocross park and race track for some time.  Thats why there aren't lots of developed trails yet. The park is actually located about 15 miles south of Farmington.  I have exact directions if you need them. The address is 431 thomas Rd, Farmington, MO 63640.  Phone # 573-756-5656.  Entry is $15.00 daily (no info on passengers).   Youtube has several videos and the jeep thing clubs have some pics.  If you look at Dirtoyboy's thread on the new years Flatnasty trip there a few photos there too.  I'm not supposed to plug their name because their not a sponser but its called  W  a   s   h   i   t   a.  Search for this on youtube for vids

I have a few landcruiser guys who want to go and I think we're looking at the 17th of February as a tenative date

Thanks for the offer, but if I was gonna drive all the way up there I could just bring my rig.  :driving: I was kinda thinking I could drive the hr north to Jeffs place then hitch a ride for the weekend with him, just to get away, and get out of the house.  :dunno:

Hi everybody.  I could make it on Saturday the 16th.  I would prefer to leave in the morning and I would only stay for the day.  How hardcore are the trails?  Not looking for body damage but I'm always good for photo's.

well, right not i'm really hoarding all money and time to try and get my project trucks done and sold to free up some $$$ for tires for my rig before an April wheelin trip, and a down payment on some land i want to by this summer.   that and i made a promise not to do any wheeling until both project trucks are complete and out of the driveway.... but whos keeping track...

I hope to have one of the project trucks done in a week or two (motor is goin in it today), which should allow me to get some tires on the rig... then I may be able to do a little bit of wheelin after I fix the front axle (bearings need grease and the inner axle shaft is broke from the last wheelin trip)... its a never ending circle...

Here are the tenative plans for the trip to was hita on Saturday the 16th.     :driving:  I think we'll all meet at the Pevely Mcdonalds between 6:30 and 7:00 am.  It should only be about a 45 minute drive from there to the park.  I think Dirtoyboy wants to camp there Friday and maybe even Thursday so if anyone is interested in camping contact him.   If this is a problem for anyone post it here or pm me and we can work something out.

What is the address of the Pevely McDonalds?  Just want to be sure there isn't more than one when I go to set my GPS.

We can catch you in November...Maybe there is room for a fall get together..I will be picking my rig up from
Razorback Customs then. Since I have to go to glen's place to pick it up..St louis is on the way, as I was going to try and visit with a few people along the way( get a meal/coffee on the "hey nice to finally see you" plan) and maybe do some wheeling on the home.

I'm not sure of the address but I know its the only one in Pevely.  You can see it from the Pevely/I55 exit.
