bent/broke axle shafts
« on: Jun 13, 2004, 11:23:24 AM »
hay ya'll.

a friend of mine built a horse-shoe pit. last night we played and he used some half inch rod and it just kept on moving everytime a shoe would hit it.

so anyway i thought axles would be a better idea.

anyone have any bent or broke axle shafts that would work for my purpose. some 1.5" or 2" round bar should work too.

i'm in san luis obispo, calif 93402

jared: i'll talk to my buddy and see what he wants to do.

any idea on how much the shipping charges will be...i'm thinking around 20+ bucks. obviously if shipping is too high it won't work for me. i'll be moving up to sac in late august so if you still have them then we'll work something out, send them home with my parents. i might run the 'con in july but we'll see.

???the backing plate is pressed to the axle and you want me to seperate them and ship the backing plate back to you. or you can't get the shafts out of the housing. ??? for some reason i'm thinking yer shafts are bent and not broke. it really don't matter but are they prior to 86 or post 86.
