« on: Jan 10, 2008, 08:07:30 PM »
Planning a day run to Clear Creek on the 26th. Got 4 maybe 5 rigs going so far. If you wanna cool little run, head up.  Will meet @ Oakflat camp ground around 9am.  Hope to see some yotas up there.

:headscratch: I googled it and it came up with Hollister... oh well.
It's east of Solodad, south of Hollister, north of Coalinga and it's freakin huge! Not much out there except mounds and aspestos though.

It's between Coalinga and Hwy 25 on Los Gatos Creek Rd/Old Colainga Rd.  About an hour out of Coalinga on the north side of Los Gatos Creek Rd/Old Colainga Rd.

The entrance to Clear Creek is at 36°21'30"N 120°47'14"W.  Cross the creek and turn right, go up the road about a mile.  Most of Clear Creek is on the left.  I recommend getting a map from the Hollister BLM because you can get lost.  You can order them over the phone for $3-5.
