Just picked up a 82 sb 4x4 and a 80 sb 4x4 will post pics shortly i now own 5 here is a list

1980 longbed 4x4 20r all stock not sure what im doing with it
1981 shortbed 4x4 lifted 33s in process of building for my 15yr old son
1983 longbed bobbed lifted 35s building for my 14yr old son
1980 shortbed just got not sure what im gona do yet
1982 shortbed just got  going to build it for me

all trucks run and are complete and in different stages of build

Just need a 79 to finish up the 1st gens.  I have 4 boys twins that are 15 and in drivers training and a 14yr old plus a 10yr old so the older 3 all will have toyotas to drive, that will all be sort of different but all built for offroad.  What other car/truck could you give a new driver that will beable to hold up to abuse like toyotas.

Being a Jeep owner, my particular jeep has been good to me, and I've beat it like a red headed step child... That being said, my daily driver is a 2wd toyota and I LOVE that truck.  Looks like you got some goodies there.

wish my first vehicle was a toyota. i got a 85 chevette with a blown clutch on my 16 bday oh and a new clutch to put in it

I guess jeeps too but there is now way i could build 3 jeeps like im doing the yotas i couldnt build 1 nice jeep for what im doing to 3 of them lol, well maybe?? I thought about it and i could go to wallyworld and by a couple of the power wheel jeeps ha ha ha my boys said no way dad.

well i took of the flatbed and put it on the 82 today other truck i thought was a 80 sb was a longbed pissed me off but they were a good deal i will post pics of the buildup in a couple of days should be pretty descent with all that i have for it!

here is a few pics of the 82 sb with some different wheels and tires will take some outside pics but got home late and just came in from bolting them on.


Its tuff trying to build 3 yotas at once lots of work but alot of fun to go with it!

LOL i bet its fun to have so many projects expecially if their all moving forward, and with some of them a fresh coat of paint would make them look like brand new trucks which is cool!!!

Well ive been building 3 of them for my 15 yr old twin boys and 1 for my 14 yr old son i plan on doing one for myself before to long maybe the yellow 82 who knows gotta make them all look descent or the wife gets pissed at me.

I will be painting them this summer just want to get all the running gear done how we want it before i worry about painting them.

Thats pretty important!  Nothing sucks more than forgetting something and having to backtrack!  Its right up there with getting kicked in the balls!

thats for sure it is alot of fun building them tho, my boys do help out its cool that they want too and help since once they are done, they fix them there selves after that!

did alittle work on the truck not much but better than nothing
replaced hood and latch assembly
took off big knarly front bumper
installed grill but dont have any headlight bezels only round ones
cut front fenders
replacing some dash stuff that was broken

try and do something everyday but doesnt always happen
