alright. any good wheeling video games that anybody knows of? the only that ive really played was for the box. im getting the new MX vs. ATV:Untamed. looks pretty awesome, or at least the trailer for it does.

Dirt for the X-Box 360 is unbelievable. I like to set the "view" just as if I am in the drivers seat. Along with the rally courses, there are several CORR tracks and some that feel like fire roads in SoCal (Otay Mesa etc.). The sounds, damage, reaction of the other cars, the scenery, even the glare of the sun all feel as real as can be expected from a game. 

It's funny, I have the 1988 Ivan Stewart, three person arcade game in my garage that I used to play for hours, not anymore. When Grand Turismo came out for PS1, I figured something like "Dirt" was in the future. I didn't know it would be this good.

That is tough to say.  First, I don't own a PS3 so any opinions on my part are based on playing at friends.  Second, there are so many titles available you have to narrow it down a bit to say best driving game etc.

But if you want my tainted and subjective opinion from what I have played, I like GT3 and the Call of Duty series. I haven't played Dirt on PS3, but if it is the same as the 360, it would top the list (its that good).

Well technically its offroad but not in the lifted 4x4 type deal. Colin McRae series games are bad ass, they are rally racing games where you can fully tune and modify your rally cars for each race. most realistic offroad racing game i have ever played. highly addicting, incredibly realistic handling. Beer + Colin McRae + a couple of friends = endless hours of rally racing goodness until your hands fall off

check it out I dont know if all of the games are available for ps2 but I know at least one of them is

I dunno, they are both pretty nice i guess. I dont have either but i have both a ps2 and the origional xbox. when prices are down signifigantly for the release of the ps4 and the Xbox #3 i might get one. i think the ps3 has more titles that interest me, but they both have great games. hard to say. youd really just have to go to best buy or something and look at all the games for each system and decide which you want. graphics and speed wise they both seem pretty comparable.

thanks, im getting a PS3 next week and all my friends are saying 360 is better. PS3 has ALOT more games then 360, especialy because you can use PS2 and PS1 games on it. I also have PS2 and regular xbox, but my PS2 is broken.

As for the video game, I have not completed the 4 stages at the Hammers. I keep getting stuck and the rocks there are sharp and I keep cutting my side walls

It is too bad they really can't make a truly off roading game or rock crawling for that matter. But it was just to dam hard. The best I've found like the others have said. Dirt is a kick ass game. I still haven't plaid 3 yet but I really want to get it but money is tight right now.

side note: lets try to stay away from console wars they never go well.
