Thanks RS... I like it so far. I really need to get used to the power. When in my 22re having to get it to make the yellow light id have to go full throttle... Did that today by the mall and before i knew it i was goin like 55. I need to make a Dline and take it to da snow!

I bet the power difference is pretty damn nice.

Sometimes I really wish that I had a taco or a third gen 4runner just for the extra power. Especially driving around the city it would be nice to have the extra pep. oh well when my engine dies i will get a 2.7 or a 3.4 but for now i will just have to accept being kinda slow

Man that thing is freakin awesome! I like those year of Tacomas.

Get some interior shots. Is it that bad?

good luck ever being able to afford duals in that thing if you are going to keep the drivers side drop D44.  minimum $1000 in adapters alone, plus a crawlbox, plus a 4.7 gearset if you want that.

its cool and all with the v6 in it, but i would look into getting a pass side drop axle and go the route that pat did with the V6 adapter and then 4cyl cases behind that.

Ouch, either way hes going to have to buy the adapters and either keep the 44 or build up a diamond/ toy housing or pass. side 44. With a 3.4 i wouldnt run a toy housing up front because your going to break it all the time even after its fully built. Maybe a fj 80 front axle.

Better start saving now! :)

Screw toyota crap... Im trying to steer away from any of that stuff.

tryn2Crawl

what about at r151 tranny and run a toy front axle? that'll work..You'd still have to ditch the waggy front.. cheapest route might just be to get the adapters since you already have a front axle....If its already geared..Its is , right?

lilbuddy

Got a few pics from the snow... Then I broke the shackle hanger off the frame cause the guy that weldded it sucked ass...

I got a few and my friends got some more... ill get em later

I am still scrathing my head on this one. I don't know how you traded a 86 runner for a 97 taco. It is pretty tight, I wouldn't mind having one. Good Job. When did you go up?

Thanks... Yeah it was weak and a sketchy ride home. He did a lot of welding and most of it looks goood its just the one side i looked and thought damn that might break, yeah, it broke :( I alreayd got it welded up but its kind of a crappy LOOKING weld but itll hold till i can get a better welder.

Haha Well the truck i got was/is totally haggard and needs a lot of little work to make it good and worth it being a 97 taco. when i traded it was actually really fair trade and the more i make this truck nice is obviously making the taco worth it.
